Dr. Daniel Choi
Dr. Daniel Choi was born and raised in Ohio. He attended UCLA for an undergraduate degree in business and sociology. Upon graduating, Dr. Choi became interested in dentistry and pursued a degree at Ohio State University. Dr. Choi then furthered his education in Periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh.
Since arriving in Texas, Dr. Choi has quickly made a name for himself as the go-to Periodontist in the Dallas area. He is a Board Certified Periodontist that provides such services as implants, impacted wisdom teeth extractions, gum grafts, and LANAP® Laser Treatment, to name a few.

Dr. "Alex" Seok Jun Lee
Dr. “Alex” Seok Jun Lee was born in Australia & immigrated to the US at an early age. He attended UC Davis, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. Dr. Lee then attended Rutgers University in Newark, NJ, receiving his Master’s in Biomedical Science. Finally, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Dr. Lee’s goals are to help patients understand their oral health needs but also to help relieve anxiety and fear often associated with dentistry. In addition, he understands the importance of compassion and relationships with each patient while delivering quality dental care.
Outside of work, Dr. Lee continues to educate himself in dentistry to ensure that each patient receives the highest level of care and best treatment options. He has attended and trained in smile makeovers, root canals, and implant courses. Dr. Lee also works out, plays basketball, and explores Dallas in his free time.
Dr. Sungjoon Koo
After spending years away from Texas for his post-secondary education, Dr. Koo moved back to the great state six years ago to serve the dental needs of his fellow Texans.
Raised in South Korea and Austin, Dr. Koo majored in biology at Brown University and attended the University of Pennsylvania for his dental degree.
Dr. Koo discovered his love for the surgical side of dentistry and implant dentistry during his residency year at NYU Langone Dental Medicine’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Prior to joining North Texas Dental Surgery, he gained extensive experience in surgical procedures at dental offices in Central Texas. Dr. Koo has placed and restored over a thousand implants for full smile makeovers (“All-on-X”), snap-on dentures, and single tooth cases.
Outside of dental surgery, Dr. Koo enjoys weightlifting and karaoke. His favorite song to perform in front of a live audience? He’ll give you the answer when you meet him at The Grapevine Dentist.
Dr. Marie Padua
Dr. Marie Padua was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Coming from a military family, she has lived all over the United States until making Texas her home. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington and then went to Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
